Jacinta Rose is a passionate storyteller, illustrator, and librarian based in Australia. With a heart full of empathy and a deep love for children’s emotional wellbeing, Jacinta creates picture books that gently explore big feelings in little people.
Her debut book, When the Bear Comes to Visit, was inspired by her own journey with big feelings and the desire to help children feel safe, seen, and understood. Through soft illustrations and comforting words, Jacinta’s stories aim to offer calm in the chaos and light in the shadows.
When she’s not writing or sketching characters, you’ll find her working in a school library, curled up with a good novel, or creating resources to support young minds. She believes in the power of stories to heal, connect, and comfort.
